Frequently Asked Questions

Our office staff are on hand to offer impartial advice.  Regardless of whether or not you hire your plant from us, we’re happy to give advice on different types of plant.  We also offer free site appraisals should you wish to get a more accurate answer. With competitive rates and great customer service, we’re the perfect company to supply all your hire plant needs.

We are able to put out our Plant, Lorries and machinery on hire rates that range from by the hour charges to fixed rate agreements.  We work closely with customers to ensure that both parties are getting the best rates possible.

We don’t typically hire out our machines on a self-drive basis.  We prefer to have our own skilled operators driving our equipment, however, in some cases we will listen to a customer’s needs and service requirements as needed.

Under no circumstances is an un-qualified driver sent out on any job.  All our operatives hold the relevant CPCS cards and all our lorry drivers hold a C and or C+E driving license.

We generally cover the areas of Lincoln, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas with all our plant hire.  In certain cases we do go beyond these boundaries but this is dependent on the type of work being undertaken.

Yes. If you are going to be a regular hirer, we would be pleased to open a credit account. Please see our credit account application form on our ‘Downloads’ page. Credit account applications will be subject to normal credit checks.

All our machinery is fully tested and certified to the standards required.  Furthermore, our plant is serviced on a regular basis.

In rare cases when our machinery does break down we will have a mechanic out to inspect it as soon as possible. If the machine is repairable on site then we will do so at minimal inconvenience.  If the machine cannot be repaired on site then we will aim to replace it the same day.

We strongly urge trade customers to set up an account with us before hiring anything. Payment terms are usually 30 days from the date of invoice, dependent upon your credit history and size of job, most credit accounts we provide have adequate credit limits.  Any work that doesn’t go on account will be liable for payment before the work has been undertaken.

Unfortunately, no one is perfect and problems do arise from time to time.  Dependent upon the type of problem, we will endeavour to reach a resolution as quickly as possible.  It is important that any problems encountered are notified at the time they occurred.  Problems reported at the end of hire will be investigated by the general manager.

If you have any questions that have not been answered here or in our terms and conditions please do not hesitate to either call or email us and we will endeavour to answer your questions/enquiries as soon as possible.
